Herbert Restaurant
A dining experience in Herbert Restaurant is not to be missed. Awarded 2 AA Rosettes in recognition of culinary excellence, we specialise in only the finest, locally sourced, seasonal produce. The restaurant has the style and grandeur of the original Cahernane house and commands beautiful views over the surrounding landscape including stunning views over the Tomies and Purple Mountains. Despite appearances, we offer a relaxed and informal dining experience, with our menus featuring many local delights like Dingle crab or Farranfore Strawberries, local free-range pork belly and Kerry Spring lamb burgers. Herbert’s Restaurant serves dinner 5 nights a week from 5.30 pm to 9.00 pm each evening and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Cellar Bar
Ideal for a quick lunch, a delicious snack or a casual dinner, our Cellar Bar is open daily serving light bites and evening meals. Located in the basement of the hotel, the Cellar Bar occupies the original wine cellar of the house. Recently renovated into a stylish and welcoming space with an extensive selection of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails for you to enjoy. The Cellar Bar serves an all-day dining menu daily from 1 pm to 9 pm which has pub food favourites served with a Cahernane flair. Enjoy a bowl of homemade soup or seafood chowder, Irish beef burgers, sirloin steak or Killarney Blonde battered hake served with golden chips. We also have a selection of hot drinks, desserts and an extensive beer and wine menu featuring many locally brewed beers.
