Bespoke Cahernane Weddings

Our wedding at Cahernane House Hotel was exactly what we wished for! We couldn’t have asked for more! There was a special atmosphere during the welcome reception in the beautiful drawing room and adjoining conservatory and the stunning grounds outside-it really is a magical place. The food in the main dining room was tasty and delicious. The service from Emer Corridan the General Manager and all her staff members was second to none and they couldn’t have done more for us on our special day. We loved how we felt so at home while there and that we had full exclusivity of the venue making our wedding intimate and romantic! We also enjoyed the fact we could decorate the dining room in anyway and the hotel made such an effort with all the other decorations around the hotel especially the entrance – we loved walking up those stairs. We got so many compliments about the setting, the atmosphere and the beautiful decoration and most of all the food! The beef steak was amazing and the guests really raved about the food long afterwards! One guest said to us after the meal: it was the best beef steak he had in his life. We chose spring and on our particular day the weather was dry and very sunny which highlighted the beauty of Cahernane House Hotel! Perfect for those much sought after photographs! Thank you to Emer and all the staff members for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more!

I love doing weddings at Cahernane House. It is one of my favourite venues and locations. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well decorated. The gardens are beautiful and scenic and the staff are always kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Planning with them is efficient and easy. Everything you would want from a wedding venue and an Irish Manor house.

Having our wedding at Cahernane was like a dream! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue and are still asking when we’re all going back. Emer and her team were phenomenal and made us feel like family. It was the experience of a lifetime! Thank you so much for everything!

We were fortunate enough to plan our first wedding in Cahernane House a couple of years ago and since then we look for any chance we can to return! Not only is the setting and the accommodation just wonderful but their food and service is second to none. For us planning destination weddings in the beautiful Cahernane House is a dream as we know our couples and their international guests are going to have the experience of a lifetime. Cahernane embodies all the is great about Killarney; friendly, stunning natural beauty, old world hospitality, a slower pace of life….. a place you never want to leave!

It's hard to know where to start writing because every facet of our initial stay and subsequent wedding was flawless. For a start, the hotel is full of beautiful reception rooms. Having stayed in both the modern bedroom and the Herbert suite they are all brilliant but I can say I haven't been in any as lovely as the Herbert suite. It's just sumptuous. The food too matches the high standard of the hotel. I had the fillet of beef and it was the nicest I've had and our guests at the wedding were raving about the food from start to finish. Then there is the staff. You won't find a better team running a hotel I think, not just in Ireland. Emer could not have done anything more for us in helping arrange our wedding day and getting hitched there went without a single hitch. Leona and Aileen and Josephine made sure we had a very special day. We'd do it all over again!

We got married in the Cahernane on November 10th 2017 and from start to finish my experience with Emer, Leona and their team were exceptional. We planned our dream wedding here and it was more magical than we could have ever imagined. The detail they put into it was amazing. They made our day more magical. Our theme was Christmas and they even put up the Christmas decorations for our big day. They were very easy to communicate with. We can’t fault anything. The food was amazing throughout the day. The wedding suite was a haven. We did not want to leave when it was time. Everyone was raving about how stunning the hotel is, with the secret cellar bar, rooms were massive, food was delicious, the whole wedding was so relaxed. It’s a secret hideaway that we will be back visiting.
