We believe that every member of the team at Cahernane plays an equal part in making our customers feel welcome with no request ever too big. Now you can get to know their smiling faces before you even arrive!
Emer Corridan
General Manager
Emer has been working at Cahernane House Hotel since 2016, managing the hotel and ensuring each guest that walks through the door has a relaxing and memorable stay as well as leading her team to a four star standard and beyond. Emer as an individual can be described as the life of Cahernane with her passion shining through in her everyday contact with both the team and guests of Cahernane House Hotel.
Cormac Vesey
Head Chef
Cormac had a flair for cooking from a very early age. A native of Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, his focus on food provenance and seasonal ingedients lies at the heart of everything he does and is the corner stone of his cooking. Over the years he has honed his skills in kitchens in New Zealand, England, Canada, and the South of France he has also worked at many well known restaurants and hotels in Ireland including the Cliff House, Killarney Park Hotel and Waterford Castle Hotel among others, Cormac’s love of travel has had a huge influence on his cooking as he has had the pleasure of working with great culinary teams all over the world.
Lorraine Sheahan
Deputy General Manager
Lorraine joined the team in 2024, with many years’ experience both nationally and internationally within the Hospitality Industry. Lorraine’s aim is to lead the team to provide excellent customer service in all areas of the hotel, striving to ensure that each guest receives an exceptional guest experience during their visit to Cahernane.
Hayden Coffey
Herbert Restaurant Supervisor
Hayden, a native to Killarney joined the team in 2023 and has a passion for hospitality, his smile is infectious and he brings a smile to everyone’s face he meets with his pleasant and positive approach to his work. Hayden enjoys a cycle in the national park, he is an expert on which trails to take while in Killarney.
Ioanna Murphy
Breakfast Supervisor
Originally from Greece and now settled in Killarney Ioanna has fallen in love with the Irish culture and positivity. Ioana has a real passion for the hospitality industry, especially within guest services having been a private butler for many years! Ioanna ensures all her guests leave the Herbert Restaurant with a smile on their face.
Todd Mullins
Cellar Bar Supervisor
Todd joined the team in 2017 not long after coming back from Korea where he taught English. He tells a great story about how he ended up travelling from Killarney to Korea, make sure you ask him! Todd is a native of Killarney and always has a smile on his face. On his days off Todd likes nothing more than to spend time with his family and cycling in Killarney National Park.
PJ Browne
Night Manager
PJ has lived in Killarney since 2000 but originally hails from Tipperary. You are sure to be more than entertained by him at night and first thing in the morning! Nothing task is too much trouble for PJ – just ask him and he will be happy to help you.
Dean Coffey
Cellar Bar Mixologist
Dean joined the team as a porter in our kitchen, and soon showed his potential in other areas with his pleasing manner and willingness to look after our guests. He has moved in our Cellar Bar in 2021 and makes an excellent cocktail by using the simplest of ingredients for his craft. Dean also has a great knowledge when it comes to the local area, be sure to ask him for advice on any trails you might be considering.
Roger
Head Porter
Roger is our gem of an all-rounder. He will look after your luggage, serve you in the bar or drawing rooms, can fix anything electronic and is a fountain of knowledge of the locality, having lived in Killarney all his life.
Abdur Rouf
Assistant Manager
Abdur joined the team in 2024 , Adbur hails from Bangladesh. Abdur has been in hospitality for many years throughout Europe and the U.K. He has been in Killarney for the past number of years, the home of Irish hospitality. Abdur leads his team ensuring that they have a pleasant experience during their dining experience while staying in Cahernane.
Gosia Machula
Herbert Restaurant Supervisor
Gosia assists with the day to day running of the Herbert Restaurant, Cahernane’s award winning Restaurant. Gosia, is originally from Poland but has been in Ireland a long time and is here to stay! Gosia likes nothing more than knowing her guests depart the restaurant with great memories of their time at Cahernane.

Veronica O'Shea
Front Office Supervisor
Veronica, a Killarney native, loves hiking local trails, especially Mangerton Mountain, and explores a new country each year. After spending 4.5 years working in Australian hospitality, she enjoys meeting guests at the front office, sharing local insights, and helping them plan memorable visits. Her passion for history makes working at Cahernane, with its rich heritage, a true delight.
Braden Warnke
Food & Beverage Supervisor
Originally from Augusta, Perth, Braden spent his whole life enjoying fishing, diving, and camping in the Outback. His first flight took him to Killarney, where he has lived and worked for the past 2 years. He loves Ireland’s landscape and culture, especially exploring the National Park and enjoying traditional music. Braden also appreciates the ease of traveling to various European countries. With over 7 years as a Food and Beverage Manager in Australia, he enjoys learning about Irish cuisine and its role in fine dining.
Denisa Durcova
Accommodation Supervisor
Denisa is originally from Slovakia and has been in Ireland since 2021. She ensures every room is serviced to her exceptional standards. She is very proud of her team and loves interaction with guests. What she loves most about Killarney are long walks in the park, meeting people and discovering new places.
